Viewing Shapes

The Shapes node of page displays the numer of shapes in that page, but only shapes with custom properties are shown as individual nodes, by default, when the Shapes node is expanded. You can display all shapes if you wish, by changing the relevant option on the settings form.

If you expand a Shape node then you will be see that any shape data and hyperlinks are displayed in their own branches.

You can view the contents of a shape data in the Property Text panel in the top right of visViewer by selecting the desired shape data node in the explorer.

Also, you can follow hyperlinks by selecting the Follow Link option on their right mouse menu, or by double-clicking it in the explorer view.

When you open a document, visViewer reads all of the shapes in every page, respecting your choices on the Load Diagram Options menu, and makes them available for searching with the Search / Criteria panel.

The Load Diagram Options menu allows you to decide whether you want to show all shapes, even if they don't have any shape data or hyperlinks, and to not nest shapes.
