Background

bVisual has been committed to Visio based development since 1996, and became a Microsoft Certified Partner after the Microsoft acquisition of Visio in 1999.

Microsoft and bVisual has established a strong working relationship to the extent that bVisual is viewed, by many, as the European centre of excellence for Visio development and consultancy. David Parker, founder of bVisual, is regarded as a guru for Visio related topics. bVisual has provided support directly to Microsoft EMEA for Visio training, creation of demonstration material (the Discover Visio Web site, for example) and also general consultancy support.

Recently, Microsoft has funded proof of concept and pilot projects for bVisual to work with its clients to increase the range of Visio based solution areas. These projects will form the basis for many Microsoft case studies.

Clients have ranged from Chase Manhattan Bank, CSFB, Deutsche Bank to DHL, BBC and MCI.

Solutions have ranged from floor plans linked to enterprise databases, and automatically generation of network diagrams, to visual risk modelling.

bVisual pride themselves in working with clients to provide visualisation of data that provide real business benefit.

In 2001, Microsoft asked bVisual to become MapPoint Solution Providers too, in order to cater for the growing UK market.
